The Warmfront Team is led by CEO, Alex Hearn. Alex is passionate about delivering the best possible service to our clients and securing funding for them under the Energy Company Obligation.
He oversees the day to day running of the business with the support of his senior team and his Personal Assistant.
Alex’s leadership, strive and enthusiasm have helped the Company become the supplier of choice for utility companies, insulation contractors and social housing providers throughout the UK.
Alex is widely recognised as a serial entrepreneur, with business interests in professional football, leisure and tourism and overseas property developments.
Jim has been working for The Warmfront Team for almost 10 years, Starting his WFT career as a Domestic Energy Assessor/ Retrofit Assessor, In 2021 Jim moved into the General Manager role within the business before moving to the role of Managing Director in November 2022.
Jim’s role involves him overseeing all areas of the business including operations, stakeholder management with Housing Associations, Install partners. As well as overseeing Finance, IT, Recruitment and HR.
Kieran has been with the business since 2014, starting out as a Domestic Energy Assessor and becoming a PAS2035RA Retrofit Assessor. Promoted to Head of Compliance in 2021 to oversee the company's adaptation of the ever-changing demands from the industry. As a result of an extremely successful ECO3 Kieran was promoted to Operations Director in November 2022.
Kieran's role involves him overseeing all areas of the business including logistics, operations, training, stakeholder management with housing associations and install partners.
Rob is the most recent addition to the senior team at WFT, Joining in January 2023 after spending close to 17 years at Lidl GB in a number of roles. Rob is new to the industry but brings with him significant leadership experience, having spent close to 12 years as a Store Manager at his previous employer.
Rob oversees an Inspections Team and the DEA/ Retrofit Assessors at WFT, is responsible for recruitment, Stakeholder management with Housing Associations/ Install partners, Overseeing various media platforms. Operations including planning of work and allocation of resource along with the Operations Director.
Kim has been in her role as Office Manager at The Warmfront Team for 10 years and is very knowledgeable in regards to the various Energy Company Obligation (ECO) schemes run by the government. Kim leads and oversees a dedicated team of office support staff.
Kim’s responsibilities at The Warmfront Team include collation of submissions by DEA’s/ RA’s on a weekly basis, Finance including staff renumeration and invoicing, Training and rotation of office staff in respect of work duties, Liaising with Install partners to track dates of insulation works and also general day to day administration tasks including public and housing association queries.
Lewis joined The Warmfront Team in December 2022 as financial controller, Lewis’s background includes almost 6 years within finance related roles, Beginning at a heating and electrical installation company where he studied his AAT apprenticeship. Upon finishing his apprentice scheme and becoming a full member of the AAT at level four, He became a Finance Manager for two years prior to joining WFT.
Lewis oversees all invoicing and finances at WFT including all bookkeeping, payroll, tax and VAT related matters, Also Cash flow and allocation, budgeting and procurement.
As The Warmfront Team’s General Counsel and head of our in-house legal team Zaheer Afzal is a legal heavyweight whom we are delighted to rely upon as part of the Governance and Compliance function for our organisation.
Zaheer has been a Barrister since being called to the Bar in 2000. He has spent over two decades building a strong and well established legal practice representing clients and companies throughout England and Wales.
Zaheer leads on the delivery of high-quality legal advice and support to our team. He has helped The Warmfront Team to build, manage and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders thereby ensuring the delivery of our high quality service and supporting our aim to achieve excellence and great value to our clients.
